Sefrou
Sefrou & Bhalil
Cave houses and cherry orchards, half an hour away
The closest escape from the medina. Bhalil keeps its troglodyte houses dug into the rock, where women still sew the buttons of the djellabas by hand. Sefrou, once a town of Jews and Muslims side by side, has its old mellah, its waterfall and, in June, its cherry festival.

Where the day-trip driver picks you up

For day trips and tours with an agency, the meeting point is on the R'cif roundabout, opposite the Funky Friends restaurant. Stand next to the big street lamp at the edge of the garden so the driver can recognise you easily, and be there a few minutes before the agreed time.
